Looking for Simple Webpage and Hosting Suggestions

I'm planning to create a simple webpage to promote items using affiliate links. I don't need anything elaborate—just a single page with links. However, I do require access to good statistics to track performance. I haven't purchased a domain yet, but I'm looking for suggestions on a domain provider and possibly a user-friendly website builder that has free options. It's been a while since I've done this, so any guidance would be appreciated!

You can go for GitHub Pages or Cloudflare Pages; both options are free for hosting your site. They're perfect for a simple setup with minimal fuss!

Great, thanks! Do you know of any simple page builders that have a kind of wizard setup? I really need to include links and track stats.

For a basic affiliate site, check out Netlify or Vercel; they're free and super easy! You can just create a simple HTML/CSS page with your links. For stats, consider adding Plausible or Google Analytics through a free account. If you prefer drag-and-drop options, Carrd is excellent for single pages and includes built-in analytics. Just a heads up, domains typically cost around $10-15 per year from places like Namecheap or Porkbun.

If you're just looking for a straightforward one-pager with affiliate links and basic stats, you don’t have to get overly complicated. Here are a couple of options:

1. **No-code Page Builders (super easy)**:
- Purchase a domain from Namecheap or Cloudflare.
- Use builders like Carrd, Framer, or Dorik; they have free or inexpensive plans.
- You can set up analytics through their settings, and you'll have a visual editor and mobile-friendly design without needing coding skills.

2. **Static Page + Free Hosting (a bit more hands-on)**:
- Create a single HTML page or export one from a template.
- Host it on GitHub or Cloudflare Pages for free.
- Attach your custom domain and add Google Analytics by pasting the tracking script into the head section of your page.

Given your needs, I’d recommend going with a simple page builder plus a domain for starters. If you need a more customized solution later, migrating to GitHub or Cloudflare will be easy!
