I'm currently running an AM4 system with a 3070 Ti, an X570 motherboard, and an R7 3700X. The GPU is overheating due to being used for a while, and I'm thinking of getting a new GPU that delivers similar performance or better. I'm open to options from both NVIDIA and AMD. If possible, I'd also like to upgrade the CPU but am not planning to switch to AM5.

Honestly, your 3070 Ti is still a solid card. Instead of investing in a new GPU, consider repadding and repasting it to fix the overheating. You can also upgrade your BIOS and drop in a Ryzen 7 5700X for a boost. This way, you'd save some money while getting better performance.
The RX 9060 XT 16GB or the 5060 Ti 16GB both offer performance that matches your 3070 Ti. Those could be great options if you're looking for a boost without dropping a ton of cash.
You might want to consider getting an RX 9060 XT 16GB for around $400-450. Alternatively, you could look into a used 5700X or 5800XT for the CPU upgrade.

That makes sense! I really just want to improve performance without going overboard. Sounds like a good plan to give my GPU some love first.
