I'm looking to upgrade my GPU since I'm currently using a 3070 Ti. My budget is around $1,700, possibly a bit more. I mainly play story-driven games, so I'm hoping to find something that enhances my gaming experience. Any recommendations?

The 5090 is over your budget but if you see one at MSRP, it’s worth it for long-term performance. Otherwise, the 5070 Ti is a solid choice right now too.

You should consider the RX 9070 XT or the RTX 5070 Ti. They both offer good performance for the price, and either would suit your gaming needs well.

You might want to look into the 4080 Super too, if you're considering options above the 5080. It's said to perform well, but make sure it's available at a good price.

For your budget, the RTX 5080 is likely the best option. It does great with 4K and DLSS 4, which really makes story games visually stunning. Just keep an eye out for sales; it can be found close to your budget! If you want to save a bit, the RX 9070 XT is still a solid choice.

If you're willing to spend a bit more, definitely go for the RTX 5080. It's a substantial upgrade over your 3070 Ti and can really enhance story games with its ray tracing capabilities. Plus, if you shop around, you might find it under $1,200. Just make sure your power supply can handle it!
