Looking to Upgrade My PC Storage: What Should I Choose?

Hey everyone! I'm happy with how my setup is running, but I'm planning to combine three of my data drives into a single 4TB internal drive. I mainly use this PC for music production. My motherboard is an ASUS PRIME Z370-P II, but I'm getting a bit lost when it comes to the differences between NVMe, SATA, and PCIe. Could anyone confirm what types will work with my motherboard and maybe suggest some drive options? Thanks!

Your motherboard does indeed work with PCIe 3.0, so when you’re shopping for a new storage drive, just keep that in mind!

Just to clarify, PCIe and NVMe are really the way to go over SATA. Your motherboard has 2 M.2 slots that are perfect for a PCIe/NVMe drive. Grab one of those for the best performance!
