Looking to Upgrade My Ryzen 5 7600 for Better Performance—Need Your Advice!

I'm thinking about upgrading my CPU since my current Ryzen 5 7600 is struggling to keep up when running several programs simultaneously. Right now, I've got Ray Traced Minecraft on one screen, while using Discord, Chrome, and the Mod Launcher on another. I also recently upgraded my graphics card from an RTX 2060 to a Radeon RX 9060XT and want to ensure my CPU can keep up with that change.

I'm looking at a few CPU options after seeing some good deals on Prime Day:

- Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- Ryzen 9 7600X
- Ryzen 9 9900X

I've checked out some benchmarks, read a few forum posts, and watched a couple of YouTube videos, but the results seem mixed. What would you recommend for multitasking and heavy gaming? Are there any other AM5 CPUs in the $200-$300 range I should consider? Thanks for the help! Here's my setup for context:

- CPU: Ryzen 5 7600
- GPU: Radeon RX 9060XT
- Motherboard: ASROCK b650m-hdv/m.2
- RAM: 32GB DDR5
- Power Supply: Corsair RM850X
- CPU Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280

From what you’ve mentioned, I think the Ryzen 7 7800X3D would give you the best boost in performance. The 7800X3D is great for multitasking and can handle gaming really well. Your current Ryzen 5 should still manage some tasks, but you might notice stutters, especially when switching between demanding programs. If it feels sluggish, especially when starting up games like Minecraft or Rainbow Six Siege, upgrading could help.

Yeah, I totally get that! I had a similar setup and switching between multiple apps did impact my gameplay. I went with the 7800X3D, and it made a noticeable difference. Definitely a solid choice!
