I used Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to reinstall my GPU drivers, and now I've lost the audio. The Realtek audio option is still visible in my system tray and device manager. My monitor speakers are working, but I can't get any sound from my PC speakers. I've tried downloading drivers from the motherboard manufacturer's site, but that hasn't solved the problem. I've also disabled all NVIDIA audio drivers in device manager, set my speakers as the default output, and checked for any disabled devices. I'm really stuck and would appreciate any help!

If you've already set Realtek as the default but no sound is coming through, try reinstalling the Realtek drivers directly from the manufacturer’s site again. Occasionally, a simple reinstall can resolve issues like this. And don’t forget to check the volume levels within the volume mixer to ensure nothing is muted.
First, make sure that Realtek is selected as your main audio output. You can do this by right-clicking the speaker icon in your taskbar, and selecting 'Playback devices', then right-click on Realtek and set it as default. Also, check if the volume mixer is set correctly for your speakers. Sometimes it can get adjusted without you realizing it.
