I accidentally pressed the Windows key while playing MW3 on my Alienware laptop running Windows 11, and now my LG monitor (which is a couple of years old) is acting weird. After it happened, I tried to reopen the game from the taskbar, but something's off with the display now. I've unplugged the HDMI cable from both my laptop and the monitor, and even disconnected the power cord from both the monitor and the extension strip, but nothing seems to work.

I get that it's frustrating! If you can, try connecting your laptop to another monitor just to check if the laptop's output is working fine. If it is, the problem might be with the monitor itself.
Wait, you just pressed the Windows key? That's it? It shouldn't normally mess anything up unless it triggered some kind of combo. It might be worth checking if you accidentally hit any other keys at the same time.
Also, sometimes the monitor settings can get thrown off. If you have access to the monitor's menu, try adjusting the input source or resetting the settings to default.
