I'm having an issue where every time I power on my monitor and PC, the monitor displays a 'no signal' message. The computer seems to be functioning normally, but the monitor just won't turn on. It was all working perfectly fine earlier today, but suddenly it stopped. I've already tried unplugging and reconnecting the HDMI cable several times, as well as restarting both the PC and monitor. Can anyone assist me with this issue? Oh, and just a heads up, my monitor is quite old!

Have you tried using a different HDMI cable? Sometimes the issue could just be a faulty cable. Also, take a peek at your motherboard for any burnt ICs just in case something's gone wrong there. If you can, try removing the GPU and then reinserting it; that can sometimes resolve connection issues.
Double-check that you're using the correct HDMI port. You might be accidentally connecting it to the HDMI port on the motherboard instead of the one for your dedicated GPU. Look for where your components plug into the motherboard and try connecting the cable to the HDMI port related to your GPU!
It might be a dead GPU if you're not seeing anything. If your motherboard has onboard graphics, you could test if the monitor works that way, but otherwise, it seems like the GPU could be the culprit.
