My mouse and keyboard work normally during the computer's boot process and have power, but both stop responding as soon as Windows loads. They still work in Windows Recovery, but not in Safe Mode. I've tried various fixes and even reset Windows, but the problem remains. What else can I try to restore input once Windows starts?

Since both devices work during boot and in Windows Recovery, the hardware and USB ports probably aren’t completely faulty. Try a basic wired keyboard and mouse connected directly to the rear USB 2.0 ports. If possible, remove any recently installed keyboard, mouse, RGB, or USB utility software, then reinstall the chipset and USB drivers from your motherboard or computer manufacturer. In Device Manager, check the USB controllers and input devices for errors, uninstall any problematic entries, and restart so Windows can detect them again. Because Safe Mode has the same issue, System Restore from the recovery menu may be more useful than another reset.
