I'm using my brother's old Zed Note laptop, which is about nine years old. The screen suddenly went black while I was trying to make a call through imo. I assumed the battery had run out, so I plugged it in, but afterward the laptop still wouldn't start when I pressed the power button. Is there anything else I can try to get it working?

Try plugging it into the charger and leaving it completely undisturbed for at least 30 minutes, or even overnight. Then hold the power button down continuously for about 30–60 seconds to perform a hard reset. Watch for any charging light, startup logo, fan noise, or other sign that it is receiving power.
Because the laptop is around nine years old, the battery may have failed or become deeply discharged. If it shows no lights or other signs of power after charging and performing a hard reset, the charger, battery, power button, or motherboard could be the problem. If possible, testing with another compatible charger or having a repair technician check it would be the next step.
I tried the longer charging and reset procedure too, but there’s still no response.
I tried holding the power button and leaving it plugged in, but it still isn’t working.
