I need help with my school-issued Chromebook; it's been freezing for the last two hours. The screen is unresponsive, and it's just stuck replaying the same audio from YouTube. I've tried pressing keys and even closing the laptop, but the loud noise continues, and nothing seems to work. What can I do to fix this?

You could also try holding down the power button for about 30 seconds. After that, wait for 5 seconds and then turn it back on again. It should help with the freezing issue.
Update: Problem solved! I pressed Ctrl + Alt + Shift and it rebooted correctly. So if anyone else has a similar issue, give that a try!
Have you tried reaching out to your school's IT department? If a simple reboot doesn't fix the issue, they might be able to help you out with it.
This is the answer for sure!
What exactly is the school IT department?

My laptop is a Dell Chromebook, so this info is really helpful!
