I'm having a frustrating issue with my laptop. It suddenly started asking for my PIN to sign in, even though I had previously set up my fingerprint for this purpose. I realize that I didn't link it to my Microsoft account and I also don't have any devices connected. Is there a way to recover my access? Unfortunately, I can't remember my PIN or password.

I know it’s tough, but you might be out of luck if you can’t recall your login details. Some laptops have recovery options built-in, so check your manual to see if there's a way to reset it without those.
The best option here is to try and remember your PIN or password since that's the only way back in. You could also try checking if there's a password recovery option available. Otherwise, you may need to reset the device.
