My iPhone Keeps Freezing and Showing a Black Screen – What Should I Do?

I'm facing a really frustrating problem with my iPhone! I bought the iPhone 15, and out of nowhere, all the Apple apps like Messages, Settings, and FaceTime just go black. I can't receive calls or messages, and my cellular connection goes completely dark. When I try to restart it, it gets stuck on the black and white Apple logo for hours. After taking it to T-Mobile, they replaced it with a refurbished iPhone 15, but a few weeks later, the same issue happened again. It's completely frozen and unusable. I decided to get a brand new iPhone 17, but surprise – the exact same problem occurred again! I've been to both Apple and T-Mobile, but no one seems to have an explanation or a solution for me. What is going on?

Have you tried erasing your iPhone and setting it up as new instead of restoring from backup? Sometimes, the backup can carry over issues that cause problems. It's worth a try!

I haven't thought about that! T-Mobile just restores from a backup every time. If I set it up as new, will I lose all my contacts and pictures?
