Hey there! I recently installed Windows 11 on my Acer Nitro 15 laptop, and I'm facing a peculiar problem where the screen randomly flickers and displays the lock screen during use, especially when I plug in the power cable. I haven't noticed this issue when running on battery, though. My laptop specifications are an Intel Core i9-13900H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, using hybrid graphics mode with the Intel integrated graphics. I've done a clean install twice, updated all drivers and Windows, but the flickering persists. Also, I'm experiencing low performance while gaming despite following best practices for driver installation and performance settings. I'm not messing around with any overclocking or hardware tweaks. Here's a video showing the flicker: https://streamable.com/ht7d83.

If you're keeping your phone close to the laptop, it might interfere with the lid sensor. Try moving it further away to see if that helps. If the problem continues, it might be worth checking if the sensor is malfunctioning.
Have you checked to see if any external devices might be triggering the sensor that thinks the lid is closing? Sometimes just having your phone nearby can cause issues like this. If that's not the case, it might be a hardware problem with the sensor itself.
