Hey everyone! I need some help. My laptop just randomly took me to the login screen, and then it went black—everything except for the time and Windows watermark was blank. It wouldn't let me log in, so I restarted it. Now, there's a random song playing on a loop in the background, and none of my applications are open. I'm really worried it's malware or something else weird going on. I was using Canva right before this happened. Any advice would be super appreciated! I have a Framework 13 laptop running Windows 11.

That’s strange! If you can, try posting a video of the song playing—it might help in figuring out if it’s truly malware. One solid solution for any issues is a clean install of Windows 11. It usually clears up any pesky problems, but just make sure to back up your files first to save your data!
A clean install generally wipes everything, so back up everything important first. You don’t want to lose any of your stuff!
First off, it does sound like you might have malware. I'd definitely recommend checking out a malware removal guide to get started on cleaning your system. Keep in mind that some scans can take a while, but they're worth it. Look into tools like Malwarebytes or a comprehensive antivirus if you aren't using one already! It's also good practice to back up your data before making system changes, just in case.

I’ll definitely try that! Thanks for the heads-up about the clean install. Just to clarify, will it keep my files intact?
