I'm having a major issue with my laptop—it won't boot up at all. The screen just stays black while the fans are making a loud noise. The indicators and backlight are all on, but nothing else happens. Before this problem, my laptop had been freezing and even restarting by itself when I bumped it from the bottom. I'm really worried about it!

It sounds like there could be some physical damage, possibly shorting components or a crack. I’d recommend taking it to a repair shop for a proper diagnosis; there’s only so much we can deduce from this situation without seeing it in person.
Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it. I think the laptop got cramped when I put it in my backpack. I tried re-inserting the SSD and RAM like someone suggested, but now I can't close the cover. I found a stray screw, and I wonder if it's pressing on something. I'm really stressed about this since it’s a pretty expensive laptop, and I don’t want my mom to find out. I just wish I hadn't messed with it!
