I left my MacBook Pro M4 at a hotel all day, and when I returned, it powered up for a few minutes before shutting off completely. It was at 80% charge when I left. Now, I can't get it to turn back on and the charger is blinking orange. Could the cold room temperature be the cause? I really need some advice on this!

Just a heads-up, Apple silicon Macs like your M4 usually don’t need manual SMC resets, just FYI. Also, how cold was the room? Did you leave a window open by chance? That could affect performance, but in the meantime, definitely check the charger!
It sounds like you might need to perform an SMC reset. For MacBooks with non-removable batteries, just hold down Shift+Control+Option together with the power button for about 10 seconds. If that doesn’t help, there could be an issue with either your charger or the battery itself. If I had to guess, it might be the charger since you're on an M4.
