I'm having trouble with my OPPO A78 smartphone as the battery is completely dead and it won't turn on at all. I'm currently using a 67-watt charger. If anyone has suggestions on how to fix this issue or what I should try next, I'd really appreciate the help!

Have you tried switching to a different charger or letting it charge overnight? Sometimes a weak connection or a faulty charger can cause issues.
I think you might be using the wrong charger. A 67-watt charger could potentially harm the phone or battery due to being too powerful. Here's a link to the specs of your phone: [OPPO A78 Specs](https://www.oppo.com/en/smartphones/series-a/a78-5g/specs/).
Yeah, I agree! 67 watts does seem a bit over the top. Latest iPhones max out at around 40 watts.
If your phone's battery is dead, it generally needs to be replaced. It's pretty common for smartphones not to power on if the battery isn't working, even when connected to a charger.

That's not really how it works! Using a charger that has a higher wattage than what your phone needs won't damage the device. Modern phones, especially with USB-C, negotiate the power they require.
