I started my PC this morning without any issues, but after leaving it on while I went to work, I returned to find it stuck in a boot loop. It shows messages like "connecting to network…", then "preparing automatic repair", and finally, "diagnosing your PC". I'm not sure what happened during the hours I was away. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this?

This won't be a quick fix, but don’t worry! First, try booting into safe mode. Once you're there, check for any failed Windows updates that might have caused this issue. You could also look through the event log for clues about what happened last time it was running properly. If nothing works, you may need to consider a system restore if a bad update is the culprit.

Thanks for the tips! Quick question: when you say safe mode, do you mean within the BIOS? I'm not sure how to access the event log there.
