Hey everyone, I'm having a really frustrating issue with my computer crashing often. The error messages mention that the application-specific permission settings don't allow Local Activation for the COM Server application with a specific CLSID. It also shows an Unavailable SID, and I've tried scanning and repairing my files through the command prompt, but the crashes just keep happening. I watched a YouTube tutorial to customize some settings, but whenever I go to make changes, the options are greyed out and I can't edit them. Any advice on what to do? I really want to fix this before my PC crashes more frequently!

When options are greyed out, it's often because you need higher privileges. Try running the application as an administrator—it might let you edit those settings. Just right-click on the program icon and select 'Run as administrator,' then see if you can make any changes. Good luck!
There might be other factors at play too! Have you updated your drivers recently? Sometimes out-of-date drivers can cause conflict with permissions and lead to crashes. Make sure everything is up to date and see if that helps!
That error sounds rough! I get similar warnings sometimes, and I usually just ignore them because they don't seem to affect anything. But if it's causing crashes every couple of hours, definitely don't ignore it! Have you tried checking event viewer logs to see exactly what the issue is? They can sometimes give you a better idea of what's going wrong.
