My PC Keeps Crashing Mid-Game—Need Help!

Hey everyone, I'm having a pretty frustrating issue with my PC. It randomly restarts while I'm gaming, and I also get occasional bluescreens and crashes. Here are my specs: I have an Intel i7-13700k CPU, an MSI 8GB RTX 4060 GPU, a Tt Smart BX3 750W PSU, an MSI MAG Z790 Tomahawk Max WiFi motherboard, and 32GB of 6000-36 Ripjaws RAM. I'm running Windows 11. The crashes happen in games like Jump Space (along with bluescreens and random restarts), Sons of the Forest (around every 1-5 minutes, also bluescreens), and occasionally in Trailmakers and Battlefield 6. Besides that, I experience serious frame drops in Minecraft. I've heard mixed reports about Intel's CPU reliability with models above the 12900, but I'm not too deep into PC building. I've reinstalled the games and GPU drivers multiple times but haven't found a solution yet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, a lot of users have reported issues with Intel's 13th and 14th gen CPUs. If you can, consider doing an RMA with Intel. Make sure your BIOS is updated, and fingers crossed it doesn't happen again.

What does RMA mean?

I doubt it's CPU degradation, so I wouldn't focus on that. Instead, check the Windows Event Viewer for error codes that caused the restarts. Also, your PSU isn't great, which could be part of the problem. Might want to consider that.

First off, try disabling XMP or EXPO in your BIOS. Sometimes those settings can cause instability.
