I've been dealing with a frustrating issue where my PC can play a game somewhat okay at first, but after one round, it starts freezing and struggling significantly. Interestingly, if I restart my PC and the WiFi, I can play another round without issues, but attempting to play a second round leads to frame drops again.

It sounds like you might be facing thermal throttling, especially since your PC struggles after some use. Make sure your cooling system is working well, and check that your fans are clean from dust. Also, monitor your CPU and GPU temperatures while gaming. If they're overheating, it could lead to performance drops after a while.
It might also be worth checking your drivers, especially for the GPU. Sometimes issues arise from outdated drivers that can cause performance problems in games. Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date and also check for any recent game patches.
Have you checked your background processes? Sometimes, other programs can hog system resources while you’re gaming, which could lead to the freezing you’re seeing. Use Task Manager to see what's running when you notice the stuttering and close unnecessary apps.
