I have a relatively new computer, just about a month old. I turned it off for dinner, and when I returned, I noticed that nothing else powered on except for the connected peripherals. I double-checked all the pins and cables, and everything appears to be in order. The peripherals suggest there's power since they light up, but the motherboard and power supply seem inactive—no lights, no fans. I'm really at a loss here!

Have you tried unplugging and plugging back in your power supply cables one by one? Just make sure to disconnect your PC from the wall first, and you might want to hit the power button to drain any residual power from the supply before you do that. It could be that one of your cables is a bit loose and needs reseating.

I've tried all that, but nothing happened. It still won't turn on.
