My PC Won’t Turn On—What’s the Next Step?

I recently experienced a problem where my PC unexpectedly shut down and now it won't power back on. I used the paperclip test on the power supply unit (PSU) and the case fans started running, but the fan above the CPU heatsink didn't turn on. Should I replace the PSU first, or is there another troubleshooting step I should take to check the CPU cooler fan? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

When you did the paperclip test, did you take the PSU out and test it separately? That can help verify if it’s really the issue. Also, when you mention the heatsink fan, do you mean the CPU cooler fan? Just making sure!

No, I just unplugged the motherboard cable like in the video I found. And yes, I meant the CPU cooler, sorry for any confusion!
