I recently bought a prebuilt PC from eBay and decided to do a case swap, plus I added a new GPU and a new PSU. When I first powered it on, it worked for a moment but then shut off. I realized I was missing the CPU cable, so I installed it. After that, I noticed the AFP panel cable was disconnected and plugged it back in, but now I get no response from the computer at all. I've double-checked that all cables are secure, ensured the PSU switch is in the correct position, but still nothing happens. I even tried removing the CMOS battery, unplugging everything from the PSU except the CPU cable and the main power connector to the motherboard, and verified those connections. Are you sure all the cables from your new PSU are connected properly? It might seem simple, but sometimes they can look secure without being fully inserted. Double-check every connection, especially the ones on the motherboard and to the GPU. It could make a big difference!
Yeah, I had a similar issue when I did my build. Just one cable not seated right can cause all sorts of issues. Don't forget to check the 24-pin connector and any additional power connectors for the GPU!
