I've been saving up for a new PC for two years, and now after just three months, my power supply unit (PSU) seems to have burned out or exploded. I'm worried about whether my GPU, CPU, and motherboard are still safe. I thought I bought a good quality PSU, and I've ordered a new one to test the other components. Fingers crossed everything works out!

What model PSU was it? Just checking if it was securely plugged in; sometimes people don't connect it properly. And what PSU are you planning to get as a replacement?
That's the reason why warranties are a lifesaver! If you got a PSU from a top-tier manufacturer, they should replace any broken parts caused by their faulty PSU. So definitely check on that warranty!

It was a BE QUIET 850W model, which I thought was quality. I believe I plugged it in properly though.
