I recently did a clean install of Windows 11 on my Cepter Cloud215i5 laptop, which originally came with Windows 11. After the installation, my touchpad has stopped working and has even disappeared from the Device Manager. I've tried everything suggested online—checking for updates, restarting, and all that—but none of it helped. I think I need to download drivers from the manufacturer, but I can't find any available from Cepter, and they don't seem to have any tech support either. The USB mouse I connected works fine and appears in Device Manager. Also, I checked my UEFI settings but couldn't find anything related to touchpad options. I'm stuck here!

If you're struggling to find the official drivers, try checking the Device ID in Device Manager. Your touchpad might be a generic model that some other manufacturer supports with their drivers. Just search for the Device ID online and see what you can find!

Which Device ID are you talking about? I can't even see the touchpad listed in Device Manager, not even under a mice category. Should I just try downloading generic drivers from other manufacturers?
