My Windows Screen is Stuck with a Pink Tint After a Power Outage—How Can I Fix It?

I was using my computer when the power went out for about two hours. After it came back on, I noticed that my Windows screen has a persistent pink tint, even during boot. My monitor appears to be fine, as it displays correctly when connected to another device. What can I do to resolve this issue?

The fact that it’s only appearing in Windows could indicate a software issue. Have you tried booting in safe mode? If the tint disappears there, it might be an application or setting messing with the color profile. Otherwise, a quick driver reinstall might be worth a shot!

It sounds like you've done some good troubleshooting already! Since the pink tint doesn't appear in your monitor settings and works fine with another monitor using the same cables, it could be an issue with your GPU or a Windows setting. You might want to check if Night Mode or similar features are turned on in your display settings. Also, ensure your graphics drivers are up to date.
