I'm building my first PC with an Aorus B850 Elite motherboard and I'm currently installing my AIO cooler. However, I'm a bit lost on where to connect the cables. I've read the instructions, but I'm still confused. I see a connection labeled 'fan4_pump' at the bottom of the motherboard, but the cable from the pump seems too short to fit behind the GPU once I install it. Right now, I've plugged the fan cables into the 'CPU_FAN' port at the top. Should I connect both the pump and the fans to 'CPU_FAN' and 'CPU_OPT'?

You can technically plug the pump into any fan header, but make sure to go into the BIOS and set that header to run at full speed all the time. Your motherboard should allow you to set the 'CPU_OPT' specifically for the pump, which is ideal. Just ensure it's set up correctly in the BIOS for optimal performance!
It's great that you're taking on building your first PC! For your setup, just make sure the pump is connected to 'CPU_OPT' for best results. If you want to double-check, download the full manual for your motherboard to get all the detailed info you need.
You should connect the fans to the 'CPU_FAN' header and the pump to the 'CPU_OPT' header. This way, the BIOS can handle the settings for each connection properly, and you might even be able to adjust the pump settings in the BIOS if needed.
