Need Help Finalizing My First PC Build

Hey everyone! I'm feeling a bit lost with my first PC build. A friend lent me an old PC, but I want to create my own. I've done some research and drafted a part list, but I'm unsure if it will work or last me a good five years. I'm willing to spend around £2000, at least £1000, and I want it to run games like Silent Hill 2, the FF7 remakes, and also be capable of handling heavily modded Minecraft.

Here's my PC part list:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor
- **CPU Cooler**: NZXT Kraken Elite 360 (2024) 73.47 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
- **Motherboard**: MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard
- **Memory**: Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory
- **Storage**: Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 5.0 X2 NVME Solid State Drive
- **Video Card**: Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB Video Card
- **Case**: NZXT H9 Flow RGB+ (2025) ATX Mid Tower Case
- **Power Supply**: MSI MAG A750GL PCIE5 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

I'd love any advice to ensure my future PC doesn't blow up!

Your build looks great overall! One suggestion I have is regarding the CPU cooler; you might not need such an expensive liquid cooler. A $30 air cooler could do the trick just fine. Also, consider bumping up to an 850W power supply for more headroom. It's usually a small difference in price and can provide extra safety for future upgrades. Good luck with your build!

Thanks a lot for the suggestions! I appreciate it! I'll definitely look into a more budget-friendly cooler and consider the power supply upgrade!

Your combo is solid! Just to echo what others said, upgrading to an 850W PSU is a smart move, especially since the 9070 XT can peak around 400W. It's always better to have some extra wattage than to risk any issues later on. Best of luck with your build!

Thank you for your input! I totally agree with playing it safe, so I'm amending my parts list now!
