Hey everyone! I'm reaching out because I'm having a tough time installing my new 2TB SSD. I built my PC about five years ago, and I skimped on storage at that time. Now that I finally have the budget to upgrade, I bought a Crucial BX500 SATA SSD, but I'm running into some serious cabling issues. Since I've moved a few times, I don't have the original power supply cables anymore. I purchased new data and power cables but realized too late that my SSD requires a single 22-pin data connection rather than two separate ones. I'm searching for a way to connect this 22-pin to the 6-pin IDE/SATA connection my power supply offers. Most alternatives seem to default to Molex, and I've only found 12V female Molex adapters, while my SSD needs 5V. What am I missing, and how can I resolve this problem? Any suggestions would help a ton!

What SSD and power supply do you have? Sometimes you'll need to reach out to your PSU manufacturer's customer support for replacement cables if you can’t find the right one.

The SSD is a Crucial BX500 SATA SSD 2TB. I’ll check my power supply model when I get back later today.
