Need Help Launching Pokémon Randomizer with Java

I'm struggling to get the Pokémon randomizer up and running because of Java issues. I can't seem to find any good step-by-step video tutorials that helped me with emulating, and after figuring out where to get ROMs, I thought I was on the right track. From what I understand, I need to install Java through the terminal, but none of the commands I'm trying are working. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are you referring to the GitHub page for the Pokémon randomizer? I’ve had success using the latest JDK 21. You can find the releases here: https://github.com/Ajarmar/universal-pokemon-randomizer-zx/releases. Here’s a screenshot of how mine looks: https://ibb.co/wZRbn3KT.

What Linux distribution are you using? The installation commands and available Java versions can change based on your distro, so knowing that could help a lot!
