What's your budget looking like? It’s worth noting that some PC parts are pretty pricey right now. For instance, I bought a 4TB SSD NVME for $150 two years ago, and now it’s around $300! If you're aiming for a good build, I suggest waiting until you can invest at least $1,000. It’s better to spend a bit more upfront for longevity.
And which parts from your current setup are you thinking of keeping? It helps to know what you're starting with!
I wouldn't recommend using a hard drive for your main storage. It's much better to go with an SSD for your operating system. If you can, at least aim for a 512 GB SSD – it makes a significant difference in speed and performance.
Also, do you have a graphics card already, or are you planning to get one with this upgrade? That would definitely impact your performance in gaming and editing.
