Need help with a DVI to HDMI Adapter for My New PC

I have a DVI cable that connects my monitor to my old PC, but my new PC only has HDMI ports. I'm looking for recommendations for DVI to HDMI converters that would work for my setup. I bought one adapter thinking it would fit, but it turned out to be the wrong shape and with a different number of prongs. Can anyone suggest specific products, especially from Amazon, that I can use to make this conversion?

It looks like what you have is a VGA connector, not DVI. You might want to check if your monitor has any other ports. If it's just VGA, you’d need a VGA to HDMI converter instead. If you show a photo of the connections on your monitor, it would really help!

Your previous setup used VGA which was converted to DVI for your old PC. Now with the new PC, you can directly use an HDMI cable, but you'll need an appropriate adapter. Check out this VGA to HDMI adapter I found: [link]. Make sure to get one with a chip inside for better compatibility!

HDMI_Harry99: Definitely check the ports on your monitor. If there's only VGA, you'll need that converter!
