I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 laptop since I bought it in April. I'm currently abroad and can't use my warranty, so I'm hoping for your guidance.
**Laptop Specs:** i7, RTX 4060, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD.
**Problem Details:**
1. The screen randomly goes black, especially when I'm running demanding games like Wuthering Waves or Genshin Impact. This happens with a faint 'crrk/srk' sound rather than a beep.
2. When this occurs, sound stops, and the keyboard becomes unresponsive, except for the power button. The key backlight remains on when pressed.
3. I've reverted to the original RAM and SSD as I've removed the new upgrades.
**What I've Tried:**
- Clean reinstalled GPU drivers using DDU.
- Reset BIOS to default.
- Reinstalled game files.
**Additional Observations:** I had the laptop on idle for about 40 minutes without any issues, and it worked fine for over 7 hours while I reinstalled the game. However, right after completing the installation, when I attempted an in-game patch update, the screen turned black again after almost 9 hours of uptime.
**History of the Issue:**
- After upgrading RAM and SSD, everything seemed fine initially, but the black screen started after logging into Genshin Impact, causing the system to freeze completely. The technician suggested this was normal, but it has continued to happen, even after restoring original parts.

I agree with the previous comment! Make sure you're monitoring the temperatures and also running diagnostics. Sometimes a simple cleaning of the vents can help with overheating, too. If all else fails, I’d recommend reaching out to Acer support directly. Good luck!
It sounds like your laptop might be overheating or having GPU issues. Have you tried running any GPU diagnostics? It could help you pinpoint the problem. Also, using a program to monitor your temperatures while gaming might show if the GPU is overheating during those heavy tasks.
