Need Help with Installing Orchid Theme on Linux Mint Cinnamon

I'm new to Linux and I tried to install the Orchid theme on my Linux Mint 22.2 with Cinnamon 6.4.8. I found this beautiful theme on GitHub, and I downloaded the zip file, uncompressed it, and ran the install script using './install.sh -t orange' for the orange variant. While it did change some icons in my panel after a restart, it wasn't supposed to just do that; it should have modified the appearance of some windows, like the file explorer as well—but it didn't. I'm not sure what I'm missing or what to do next. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Yeah, it sounds like you might just need to select the theme from the settings menu. After installation, make sure you open up your theme settings and switch to the Orchid theme if it hasn't already applied. Sometimes it doesn't change instantly.

Installing themes in Linux can be tricky, especially for beginners. Just a heads up: not all applications will follow the theme settings perfectly. The Orchid theme looks great, but customizing your desktop can be a bit advanced. I usually stick to themes available from my desktop environment's official sources for better compatibility. That said, you might want to check if you need to apply the theme in your settings after installing it. Go into the settings and search for appearance or themes to see if you can select the Orchid theme there.
