Need Help with Machinist X99-U9 BIOS File

I recently picked up a Machinist X99-U9 motherboard (also labeled G796K-V1.11) to tinker with, but I'm running into some issues. I noticed the power limit on it was only around 35 watts, so I researched and found that I might need to perform a BIOS mod to unlock it. I managed to grab an image from the chip, but it was just 8MB while the chip itself is 16MB. Even though the modding tool accepted it, I ended up with a bootloop. I've tried troubleshooting, but I'm facing a RAM initialization error (error b7) or it just keeps bootlooping. It seems like I'm missing the Intel ME portion of the BIOS. If anyone has any clues or solutions, I'd really appreciate your help!

Your best shot is to contact the seller and ask if they can provide the BIOS file. You really need a fully functional BIOS to avoid issues like bootloops or errors. Sometimes, the manufacturer's website can help, but with these Chinese boards, it can be a real hassle to find the right support. Good luck!

I already tried that, but the seller said they can't provide it directly and suggested to check the Machinist website, which has zero info for my board. I'm now waiting for a response after reaching out through their contact option. I’m considering flashing the BIOS from similar boards and hoping for the best!
