I bought a prebuilt PC about two weeks ago, and it worked normally until recently. Now, after running for a few minutes, it crashes with a "Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart" error and reboots. I tried performing a factory reset, but the system shuts down before it can finish. After restarting, it often opens directly into the BIOS and doesn't show the SSD as an available boot device. A hard restart usually lets it boot into Windows again. The system has a B650 motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 8700F, RTX 5070, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. Temperatures look normal while the PC is running, and I've checked that the fans and major connections are plugged in.

When the crash happens, look for the STOP code shown on the blue error screen, such as DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE or PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA. You can also find it after rebooting in Event Viewer under Windows Logs > System, usually from a BugCheck entry. That code can point toward the faulty driver or component. Since the SSD sometimes disappears from the BIOS, also check its connection and consider contacting the prebuilt manufacturer for warranty service if the drive keeps vanishing.
Check that the case, CPU, and graphics card fans are all connected and spinning. An overheating component could cause crashes and restarts, although monitoring the temperatures while the system is running should help confirm whether that’s happening.
I checked the connections and the fans are working. The temperatures look normal while the PC is running, so nothing obvious seems to be overheating.
