Noticing Playback Issues with a YouTube Live Stream Replay

I stumbled upon a strange situation with a YouTube live stream replay, and I'm hoping some of you can help me figure it out. The video I'm looking at shows a total duration of 5:38:08 on the YouTube page, but when I try to play it on my phone, it only plays for about 1:00:14, and on Chrome mobile, it shows approximately 1:00:40. I'm curious to know if anyone else can check this video link and let me know how long the video appears on their end and how much of it is actually playable. Is this just a YouTube processing issue, or could it be something specific to the device I'm using?

What you're seeing could definitely be a metadata glitch from YouTube. When a live stream wraps up, it takes some time for YouTube to process and finalize the entire recording. During that processing phase, the page might display the full length while only a portion is available for playback. Also, sometimes mobile apps or browsers have issues with longer videos, leading them to stop early. It's a common bug that many users have faced, so you’re not alone here!

Could you check it out on your device and let me know what you see? It’s really important to me.

Yes, please let me know what duration shows up for you!

No need to worry! What you're experiencing is likely just a glitch with YouTube's processing, rather than anything harmful. Sometimes, the duration shown doesn't match up with what the video actually plays because YouTube has to process live streams after they finish. Clearing your browser's cache and trying to view it in incognito mode might help. Since the issues are appearing across different devices, it sounds like it’s more of a server problem on YouTube's end rather than anything wrong on your part. You’re totally fine; it’s just a technical hiccup!

I played it and got 1:00:19 on my end. What about you? Is the thumbnail still showing 5:38:08?

Yes, the thumbnail still shows the longer duration, it's confusing!
