My Keychron Q6 HE has started repeatedly sending Num 6 key presses even when I am not touching it. The problem began within the last two days and appears after the computer has been running for about an hour. Restarting temporarily fixes it, but the issue returns later. With Num Lock enabled, Num 6 repeats constantly; with Num Lock disabled, the right D-pad input appears to be held instead. This causes Windows error sounds, prevents the computer from sleeping, and makes games rapidly switch between controller and keyboard prompts. I cleaned around the key and removed the keyboard devices in Device Manager so Windows could reinstall them, but the problem remains. A similar issue previously happened intermittently with a different keyboard, so I suspect a driver, wireless receiver, or hardware-related problem.

Check whether another keyboard or input device is connected, even if you are not actively using it. A wireless receiver or secondary device can sometimes send a stuck key signal. Since your Corsair mouse receiver can also support a keyboard, unplug that dongle temporarily and test with only the Keychron connected.
Because the Q6 HE uses magnetic Hall-effect sensing, check for anything magnetic directly under or near the keyboard. Magnets can interfere with the switches and make a key appear partially or continuously pressed. Move the keyboard to a different surface and remove any magnetic desk mat or accessory to see whether the behavior stops.
The setup has been mostly unchanged since the PC was built, and the issue only started recently. However, a previous keyboard had a similar intermittent problem, so I am still going to test for magnetic interference and other shared hardware causes.
I do not have another keyboard plugged in, but I do have a Corsair receiver connected that can handle both a mouse and keyboard. I will test with that receiver unplugged.
