I've connected what I believe is everything correctly, but the computer won't display anything on the monitor or complete POST. The system uses an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X-series processor and a B550 motherboard. All connections seem snug, but I'm not sure what to check next.

What graphics card are you using? Since the Ryzen 7 5800X doesn’t have integrated graphics, the monitor cable needs to be plugged into the graphics card rather than the motherboard. Also check that the card is fully seated and that its PCIe power connectors are attached.
It’s an RTX 3080 Ti.
