PC Powers On but Shows No Display—What Should I Check?

I've assembled my PC and double-checked that the components and cables seem properly connected, but the system won't display anything on the monitor or complete POST. The build uses an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X-series processor, a B550 motherboard, and an RTX 3080 Ti. What should I troubleshoot first?

Start by confirming that the monitor cable is plugged into the RTX 3080 Ti rather than the motherboard’s video output. Also reseat the graphics card and its PCIe power cables, check that the 24-pin motherboard and 8-pin CPU power connectors are fully inserted, and try booting with one RAM stick. If the motherboard has diagnostic LEDs, see whether it stops on CPU, memory, VGA, or boot.

The graphics card is an RTX 3080 Ti, so I’ll check its seating, power connections, and the diagnostic indicators first.
