My Windows 11 desktop randomly restarts while gaming, usually after about an hour. For example, I might have Discord and Palworld running when it happens. I was told the issue could be related to RAM, but the memory tests I've tried so far haven't shown a problem. I've also attached an Event Viewer screenshot showing the errors that appear around the restart. I've been troubleshooting this for about a month and would appreciate suggestions on what to check next.
System specifications:
- Windows 11 Home 64-bit
- AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
- 64GB RAM
- AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
- DirectX 12

Start by entering the BIOS and loading the default settings. Check that the RAM timings are correct and that any memory profile is configured properly, then save and reboot. After that, run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool and choose the extended test so the system checks the RAM more thoroughly.

I’ll try those steps. I’m also wondering whether the power supply could be failing, since the computer restarts rather than showing a normal crash.
