I'm trying to use Logitech Z313 speakers with a PC built around an MSI B450M-A PRO MAX II motherboard. The speakers are powered on and the 3.5 mm plug is connected to the computer, but Windows says that no output devices are available. I installed the Realtek audio drivers from the motherboard manufacturer's website, yet Realtek audio still doesn't appear. What should I check next?

Double-check that the green 3.5 mm plug is connected to the motherboard’s rear line-out or speaker jack, not the microphone or line-in port. Since the speakers have power and the motherboard model is known, the likely causes are disabled onboard audio, an incomplete driver installation, or a Windows audio-device detection problem.
Make sure the onboard audio controller is enabled in the BIOS. Look for a setting such as HD Audio Controller or Onboard Audio and set it to Enabled. After saving and rebooting, install the correct chipset driver first, then the Realtek audio driver, and restart again.
First, check Device Manager under “Sound, video and game controllers” and “Audio inputs and outputs.” If the Realtek device is missing or has a warning icon, uninstall any broken audio device, restart, and reinstall the motherboard’s audio driver. Also check Windows Settings > System > Sound to see whether the output device is disabled or hidden.
Windows only reports that no output devices are found, and there isn’t a speaker option to select.
