My PC suddenly stopped booting this morning. The motherboard's status light cycles from red to orange and then stays white, while the monitor, keyboard, and mouse receive no signal. I already turned off the power supply and tried starting it again, but the problem remains. It's an older prebuilt system with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, 850W power supply, and a recently installed RTX 3050 8GB. I've had issues with the graphics card before and have already checked and reseated the PCIe connections. I'm not sure what the rest of the specifications are. What should I check next?

A white motherboard light commonly points to a graphics or display initialization problem, so the RTX 3050 is a reasonable place to start. Power the system down, switch off and unplug the PSU, then remove and firmly reseat the card and its power connector. Also check that the monitor cable is connected to the graphics card rather than the motherboard, and try another cable or display input if possible. Since the 5600G has integrated graphics, you can also remove the 3050 temporarily and connect the monitor to the motherboard output to see whether the PC can reach BIOS.
More system information is needed for reliable troubleshooting, especially the motherboard model and the exact diagnostic light location. Disconnect unnecessary USB devices and add-on hardware, then try booting with only one RAM stick installed. Clear the CMOS according to the motherboard manual, and check whether the system produces any beep codes. If it boots using the integrated graphics, the 3050, its power connection, or the PCIe slot is likely involved.
