I left my PC running an update overnight, and when I tried to start it this morning, the CPU debug light on the motherboard was red. The fans and RGB lighting turn on, but the system never reaches POST. The build uses a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Radeon RX 9070 XT, MSI MAG870 Tomahawk motherboard, and 64GB of RAM. I already tried clearing CMOS and resetting the BIOS by powering down, discharging the system, and holding the relevant buttons, but nothing changed. I'm not comfortable taking the computer apart because I have limited manual dexterity. It was built around 14 months ago and worked normally until this happened.

Was this a recently built or purchased system? If it’s only about 14 months old, check whether the motherboard, CPU, or system builder still has warranty coverage before buying anything. Avoid repeatedly removing or reseating components if you don’t have the tools or dexterity, because the socket and CPU pins are very easy to damage.
A Windows update normally shouldn’t prevent the motherboard from reaching POST, since Windows hasn’t loaded at that stage. The red CPU light points more toward a hardware, firmware, power, or CPU-socket issue. Since you’re not able to safely disassemble it, the best next step is taking the whole PC to a reputable repair shop and explaining exactly what happened before and after the attempted resets.
