Problems Using Dual Monitors with Kubuntu

I'm having trouble setting up my dual monitor display with Kubuntu. My setup includes an old 1080p monitor and a 4K TV; the 1080p monitor is used for general tasks, while the 4K TV is primarily for gaming. In Windows 10, I have them set as duplicates, but that results in the 1080p monitor displaying everything too small. The bigger issue is when I try to do the same in Linux—my small monitor only shows part of the screen, making it practically unusable. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

I assume your 4K TV is not set to 60Hz, right? This could cause some issues with the display settings. If it's set correctly, then you might also consider adjusting the display settings in your Kubuntu environment to make the smaller monitor the primary one, or use different scaling options to fit both screens better. Let me know if that helps!

Try using the latest version of Kubuntu instead of the LTS releases. The newer updates often include better support for multi-monitor setups which might solve the issue you're experiencing.
