Problems with Roku Stick on Older Sony Bravia TV

I'm trying to connect my older Sony Bravia model KDL-40W600B to a Roku TV stick (3840x), but I'm having some trouble. The smart features of the TV don't work, so I got the Roku stick, but it's not functioning. I initially connected it to HDMI port 1, but I think there's an issue because it's tagged as an MHL port. I then tried HDMI port 4, but there's still no signal. I've already power cycled both the TV and the Roku, and I've confirmed they're plugged in and turned on. Any suggestions on how to get this working?

Have you checked how you're powering the Roku stick? It's essential to use a reliable power source—ideally, a 5V 1A (or higher) USB power supply. Some TV USB ports may not provide enough juice for streaming devices like Roku, which can lead to connection issues.

Yeah, I'm using the power adapter that came with the Roku and plugged it into a wall outlet, so that shouldn't be the problem.
