Questions About Using the 12VHPWR Adapter for My 5070ti

Hey everyone! I recently got a 5070ti GPU and I'm trying to figure out how to properly connect the power. The GPU came with a 12VHPWR adapter cable, but the packaging says I need to use 3 separate PCIe cables from my power supply. I have some PCIe 8 pin (6+2) cables that came with my Corsair RM1000x PSU, which have two connectors each. I'm confused about how to connect everything. The instructions warn against using two connectors from the same cable, but can I use three connectors from three different dual connector cables? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Just go ahead and use the 12VHPWR cable that came with your PSU!

Another person mentioned that the newer RM 1000x models come with the 12VHPRW cable included, but unfortunately mine is too old for that. 🙁

If your RM1000x is from the last year or so, it actually should come with a native 12VHPWR cable. If not, just plug in 3 PCI-E 8 pin connectors into the adapter. It's totally fine to use the three connectors from three separate dual connector cables like that.

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, I bought my RM1000x around 3 years ago, so I guess I missed out on the native cable. Just to confirm, [this](https://imgur.com/a/cable-help-10OPxFT) setup should work for now, right? It'll take a week for me to get an original 12VHPWR cable.

You can definitely use two PCIe cables where one has two connectors and the other has one. Just avoid using two connectors from a single cable to the adapter. An easier route would be to get a dedicated 12VHPWR adapter cable from Corsair so you won't need to mess with all the PCIe cables. Thanks for the quick reply! Just so you know, I posted [this](https://imgur.com/a/cable-help-10OPxFT) for extra context while responding. Hope it's safe to do that until I can get the actual 12VHPWR cable.
