Random eSIM Activation Notifications on iPhone?

Has anyone experienced random eSIM activation notifications on their iPhone? I received one from something called 'Xfinity,' which isn't available in the U.K. I own a 16PM that I purchased from my carrier directly, so it's not refurbished or anything. This is the first time I've seen a notification like this, and I'm a bit concerned. I didn't set up the eSIM and only see my current provider in the Carrier settings. I contacted my provider, and they confirmed that everything looks fine on my account. Plus, I can't find an option to disable these activation requests on my phone. Has anyone dealt with this issue?

Just to clarify, Xfinity is the brand name for Comcast in the U.S., and they were originally a cable TV provider before expanding to wireless service. My guess is that someone might be confusing their identifier and accidentally sending these requests to multiple devices.

It’s possible for anyone to send you eSIM installation requests if they have access to your eID. Unfortunately, you can't really stop these notifications completely. However, a good workaround is to install the eSIM and then remove it right away. This might prevent those annoying alerts from popping up repeatedly.
